Insulation Job Lead

We are seeking an Insulation Job Lead who is looking for a full-time permanent role. The work will most commonly take you within 15 miles of Staines-upon-Thames.

You will have the drive to succeed and be able to manage people to achieve high levels of quality and within deadlines on construction sites.

Special attention will be expected on Health & Safety, as well as keeping the work site tidy. Good communication with customers, office and other trades will also be important. You would work in owner-occupied properties, mainly managing jobs in the fast growing external wall insulation sector. The role would involve managing operatives, specialist fitters and external trades we may use from time to time.

Skills Required

• Qualified or time-served in at least one of the following trades with working knowledge:  Plumbing, Electrics, Plastering, Carpentry, Bricklaying, Roofing,  Landscaping, as well as  Insulation or Decorating.
• Self-discipline, pride and high standards in everything you do
• Excellent communication skills with a can do attitude
• Minimum two years’ experience in the property maintenance business in areas such as Plumbing, Electrics, Plastering, Carpentry, Bricklaying, Roofing, Landscaping, as well as Insulation or Decorating
• Excellent organizational and people management skills
• Good time keeping and time management is essential
• A clean driving licence

Job Type: Full-time and permanent

Salary: Competitive

Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm with lunch break

Insulation Operative

We are seeking an Insulation Operative who is interested in a full-time permanent role.  The work will most commonly take you within 15 miles of Staines-upon-Thames.

You will have the drive to succeed and experience of working on construction sites in one of the following areas – general plumbing, basic electrics, brick repointing, gutters, fascias, soffits, painting, plastering, basic roofing or fencing.

Experience in the insulation industry is not required as relevant training will be provided. You will work with more experienced operatives, initially helping in the preparation of the jobs, assisting them during the job and then helping close the job off. You will be expected to learn new skills as you progress and display a clear desire to further your career. You would work in owner-occupied properties, sometimes insulating lofts, sometimes being involved in the fast-growing external wall insulation.

Special attention will be expected to following Health & Safety rules, as well as keeping the work site tidy. Good communication with customers, office and other trades will also be important.

• Having passed or studying towards NVQ Level 1 or Level 2 in plumbing, electrics or other construction related trades
• Self-discipline, pride and high standards in everything you do
• Excellent communication skills with a can-do attitude
• Minimum two years’ experience in the property maintenance business in areas such as Plumbing, Electrics, Plastering, Carpentry, Bricklaying, Roofing, Landscaping, as well as Insulation or Decorating.
• Excellent organisational skills
• Good time keeping and time management is essential
